When PSI JOSEPH RIZALDY A DALOPE assumed his office as the Chief of Police in July 2008, his first and foremost objective is crime prevention. During the first staff conference held at the station, the COP then discussed about preemptive measures to be undertaken to prevent crime, if not, at least alleviate the occurence of such. He reiterated that even though the municipality is considered as a white area, existence of crimes could not be prevented. Establishment of checkpoints/chokepoints, constant mobile patrol and foot patrol, particularly during market days (Tuesday and Saturday) likewise, municipal ordinances such as curfew on minors should be strictly implemented.
Furthermore, the COP is very optimistic that crimes of every kind will be solved through cooperation of the town's constituents with the law enforcement.
